PBS stands for Banks’ Payment Service (Pengeinstitutternes Betalingsservice).
PBS develops and operates solutions within payment cards and payment services.
If you receive a recurring bill, such as your membership in Startup Central, you can sign it up for PBS. That way, you do not have to think about paying the bill manually, it will automatically be deducted from the registered card.
PBS for companies
As a business owner, you can purchase the service PBS. The big advantage here is that the payments are automated and thus the company saves time and money. A forgotten bill will no longer means a reminder fee.
How to create a PBS agreement
If you have bills that are recurring, it is a good idea to create them as PBS. You can do this easily in your online bank under ‘Payment agreements’.
Invoices can be, for example: subscriptions, contingents, rent, trade union, electricity, water and loans.
All you have to do is enter the PBS number, PBS customer number and debtor group number, which is on the invoice, then it is registered.
